Summary:
-Ask her directly
-Ask her friends
-Think body, mind, heart, spirit
-What’s a hassle that I can take away or make easier for her? A pain I can help remove?
-If you’re going to offer a spa day, girls’ trip, house cleaning, make sure it’s SCHEDULED and PAID FOR and child care ARRANGED
-Consider the 5 love languages (gifts, quality time, words of affirmation, physical touch, acts of service)
-If you’re separated, focus on gifts that encourage her personal growth and friendships. Avoid gifts like words of affirmation that can easily become needy. You want the message to be “I want you to be the best version of yourself, whether we stay together or not.”
